Black, White and Orange Canvas Painting

This is another painting that I have recently completed for a friend's house.

I drew the rectangles in the positions that I wanted them in, and then painted around them in black. The red paint acts as a glue for the bits of orange cardboard that I stuck on for a bit of colour.

From a home decorating point of view, this canvas would suit a black and white themed room, and the orange bits were designed to tie in with, say, a bowl of mandarins or oranges on the bench or table.
